Sell estimate
What to ask for the pins on one of your lists if you sell them on eBay, one at a time or all together as a lot, and what you keep once eBay's fees, postage and packing come off. These are estimates, not promises; see the fine print.
One at a time
As one lot
| Pin | Calculated | Ask | eBay fees | Postage | Packing | You keep |
|---|
eBay US fees: 13.6% of the item price, plus $0.30 an order of $10 or less and $0.40 above that. Postage is a USPS Ground Advantage label at about eBay's rate to the middle of the country, by the package's weight: each pin's weight plus 2 oz for the mailer or box. Published rates differ by up to a dollar and the real one depends on how far it goes, so check eBay's label price. Packing is one mailer or box a package plus protection for each pin, so it costs less a pin the bigger the package. Shipping: with eBay's calculated shipping the buyer pays what the label costs, so it leaves you out of it and is not counted. With a flat rate you buy the label and the buyer pays your rate, so the difference is yours, either way. With free shipping the label is yours to pay. eBay also takes 13.6% of any shipping the buyer pays, not counted here. The first 250 listings a month are free, then $0.35 each, not counted here. Selling to a buyer outside the US costs you another 1.65% unless you ship with eBay International Shipping. The speeds price each pin at a share of its calculated price; how long sales at about that price took is measured from the confirmed eBay and Mercari sales we tracked. The lot discount is a starting point, not measured: we have no lot sales.
The fine print
Everything on this page is an estimate for your information only. It is not financial, tax, legal or selling advice, and it should not be treated as gospel. Prices come from listings and sales we happened to track and can be wrong, out of date or based on very few sales. Nothing here promises that a pin will sell, sell at any price, or sell in any length of time.
eBay's fees, USPS postage and packing costs are approximations that change without notice and depend on your account, your listing, your buyer and where the package goes. Check eBay's own fee and shipping pages, and the label price eBay shows you, before you list. Taxes on what you sell are your responsibility.
